A note from Cheryl: I would like to ask for your prayers. I have a great opportunity that I am working on. I am looking for investors to help me buy into an established Christian record company for independent artists like myself. We want to take the Gospel Music Industry and turn it into the Gospel Music Ministry as God has intended. We want it to operate for His glory and the spreading of His love, grace and mercy through our gifts of words and in song. Right now in the gospel music industry, secular & Christian labels included, are looking at gospel artists and not signing them because they are "old" or "over weight". They look at the physical side, not the spiritual side. This is wrong. The industry has a “cookie cutter” attitude, meaning that each artist has to have a certain look, have a certain sound, and has to be a certain age, be a certain size; this a duplication of the secular artist market. The Bible says we are to set ourselves apart from the world, not act like the world. There are amazing artists out there who have anointed ministries and need to be on the radio to get their music in front of people and do their job, which is spreading the Gospel. We want to create our own record label that will be able to sign, promote and tour anointed artists of any shape, size, or age, who have anointed music ministries of all types. We want to be the leading gospel music ministry label in the US and Canada for His glory. Please join with me in prayer on this. We need a large sum of money to make this happen. Nothing is too big or great for my God to do, I know it. With the right backing we can do it... we have the artists, the songs and an established record company. I am excited about this. So with the blessings from the Lord and the help of the Lord I will raise what we need to raise; please pray about this with me. This could change the Gospel Music Industry and place it back in God's hand for his Ministry. Take care and God Bless! You may contact Cheryl about this prayer request by clicking here. |
